What is a Nanny?

A Nanny is someone who cares for children in the family home. A Nanny is a form of private childcare. A Nanny can live in the home or outside of the home. A Nanny can work full time, part time, variable hours or have a rota such as 1 week on and 1 week off.
A Nanny's typical duties will include but not be limited to - Keeping a safe and well structured routine for the children and family, daily school runs and collections, providing outside and indoor activities ,nursery duties, healthy homemade meals and daily housekeeping tasks.
Nannies with Nifty-Minders will be level 3 qualified at a minimum with two years of childcare experience , an enhanced DBS and an up to date first aid certification.
